Review Response Analysis on PHARMAC's Consumer Advisory Committee's Current Terms of Reference

Who forPHARMAC
WhyThis was the first stage in PHARMAC's review of its Consumer Advisory Groups Terms of Reference .
WhatTwenty three submissions were analysed. Though most submitters responded to the questions posed in the submission document, their comments were wide ranging and detailed. The analysis was completed with a report written in a two week timeframe.
OutcomesPHARMAC will use the report to guide the update of the Terms of Reference and role of the Consumer Advisory Committee.

Submissions Analysis of the Food and Nutrition Guidelines for Healthy Older people: A background paper

Who forMinistry of Health
WhyThe background paper and guidelines were circulated to the food and nutrition sector to seek comment on the accuracy and appropriateness of the topics covered, the supporting evidence and the guidelines.
WhatThirty two submissions were analysed for this work, a substantial number of which were long and technical. Six questions were asked in the submission booklet but many submitters made comment well beyond the scope of the questions in long and detailed submissions. The work was completed within the timeframe requested.
OutcomesThe submissions analysis was used to update the background paper and guidelines.

Submissions Analysis on the Draft Gambling Strategy

Who forMinistry of Health
WhyThe Ministry is required to consult with stakeholders on the draft gambling strategy. The purpose of this work was to summarise and analyse stakeholders' views on the strategy for the Ministry so they could amend the strategy where required.
What65 submissions were analysed and a final report was presented to the Ministry within three weeks of getting the submissions.
Outcomes The Ministry will use the submissions analysis to guide its revision of the Gambling Strategy before it is implemented.
