Training

We offer training courses for people from diverse work areas including health, transport, housing and local government. We are specialist trainers in health and wellbeing impact assessment, whānau ora health impact assessment and health promotion. We tailor our courses to the needs of our clients using local examples to enable participants to relate to the course content. An example of this is the health promotion course we have developed specifically for primary health organisations (PHOs).

Here is what some of our participants have to say about our courses:

"Quigley and Watts' Health Promotion in Primary Care training has been instrumental in supporting our medical practices to advance the Primary Health Care strategy. Participants have been given a safe place to learn and discuss what health promotion is and how they can apply its approaches in the Primary Care setting. The focus on determinants of health and inequalities has been particularly relevant. Quigley and Watts have worked with us to ensure the training meets our needs and are very adaptable in their approach. We highly recommend them."
